Our story

VEG IN started its journey in November of 2014 with the production and sale of vegan and vegetarian products, exclusively with its brand.
With the development of the market, we felt the need to expand our product portfolio in order to meet the consumer needs and started the expansion of our range, looking for brands and products that were a reference in international markets and that would quickly adapt to the Portuguese consumer.
We started the process of expanding our assortment with VIOLIFE brand and its implementation in the Portuguese supermarket’s chains. Currently, we are the exclusive distributor for the specialized shops and small retail channel in Portugal.

The next step was our BOLACHAS DO MAR with 3 varieties (Original, Chia and without salt) with the development of a balanced and healthy recipe.


VIVERA was our last launch, which will surely surprise the Portuguese market for its quality and truly surprising products.

We are preparing the launch of new products that we will inform shortly.
Our ambition is to be a reference company in the market, that´s why, we work every day to meet the needs of our customers.

From day one, we assume the mission and duty of providing the market with high quality products, with the guarantee of complying with the implicit requirements imposed by the vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian’s consumers.

All the products we produce and sell comply with the most demanding conditions of food safety and hygiene, and are obviously subject to strict quality control from the selection of raw material suppliers to the final product.

Quality

We ensure strict and careful quality control throughout the production process. From the raw materials we use from qualified suppliers to the level of product traceability, which is ensured by an implemented inspection and control system.


Since the beginning, VEG IN has been concerned with developing and implementing a Food Safety Management System based on the application of the HACCP System (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), covering all products and all processes from the reception of raw materials to the distribution of the final product.
